According to the word coming out of Top Rank, and confirmed by co-manager Cameron Dunkin, a deal is close for Kelly Pavlik (36-2, 32KOs) to face Daniel Edouard (23-3, 14KOs) on the Manny Pacquiao-Antonio Margarito undercard on November 13 at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Pavlik, a former middleweight champion who plans to remain at the weight, will face Edouard at an agreed upon max of 164-pounds.

Dunkin tells BoxingScene.com that he likes the fight and believes it's the right kind of opponent for Pavlik, who returns for the first time since his April decision loss to Sergio Martinez.

"I like the fight. Edouard is a rough guy. It's a good fight for Kelly because Edouard comes to fight. Kelly is not returning against a guy who is coming there to lay down. Edouard will be coming to fight, so it's good for Kelly," Dunkin told BoxingScene.com.
