BoxingScene.com has been advised by reliable sources that IBO middleweight champion Peter Manfredo Jr. will be defending his title on October 8th, possibly at the Mohegan Sun in Connecticut. Reportedly he will defend his title versus former world champion William Joppy. Manfredo won the title when he knocked out Angel Hernandez in May.
